Polypropylene fabrics can be classified into pure, blended and interwoven fabrics. Among them, blended and interwoven fabrics are mostly matched with cotton fibers, such as polypropylene/cotton muslin, polypropylene/cotton colored linen yarn and other varieties; The pure polypropylene fabric is represented by overcoat.
（1） Polypropylene pure fabric
1. Overcoat is a wool like fabric woven from polypropylene terry yarn dyed with the original solution. It has a unique terry style, bright and beautiful color, light and warm texture, strong wool feeling, and its advantages are easy washing and quick drying. It is suitable for making youth clothes and children's coats.
2. The superfine fiber fabric is knitted or woven with superfine polypropylene FDY and stretch textured yarn (DTY) as raw materials, and is suitable for making sportswear, T-shirts, underwear, pajamas, all kinds of fashion and socks for close wearing, etc. It can also be used for bedding, decorative materials (curtains, tablecloths), towels, hats and medical supplies.
（2） Polypropylene blended fabric
Polypropylene fiber is suitable for blending with cotton or viscose fiber to form various fabrics. At present, the polypropylene fiber fabrics produced in China include 35% cotton and 65% polypropylene/cotton mixed yarn; Cotton/polypropylene colored cloth or white cloth with 50% polypropylene fiber and 50% cotton respectively.
1. C/cotton mixed color hemp yarn is woven with C/cotton (65/35) yarn, which is strong and durable, neat in appearance, and has good dimensional stability. They are mostly used as military raincoats, mosquito nets, etc.
2. C/cotton muslin C/cotton muslin has a neat appearance, small shrinkage, strong and durable, with the advantages of easy washing and quick drying, and has the style of polyester/cotton fabric. The price is much cheaper than polyester/cotton fabric.
Polypropylene fiber is limited in terms of clothing. At present, polypropylene fiber is mainly used for carpets (including carpet bottom cloth and suede), decorative cloth, geotextile, nonwovens, ropes, strips, fishing nets, building reinforcement materials, packaging materials, etc. The quilt made of polypropylene hollow fiber is light, warm and elastic.
